Natural History Huakaʻi: Volcanoes, Waterfalls & Birds

Here’s your chance to experience the best of Hawaii’s nature. This full day trip includes short stops along the Hawaii Island Birding Trail, a visit to a tropical farm, scenic waterfalls, and the famed Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This in-depth natural history adventure will leave you with a deep appreciation for the natural wonders of Hawaii Island. And, of course, we’ll pick up an assortment of native and introduced birds along the way. Includes breakfast, lunch and park and private property entrance fees.
Target Species: Broad assortment of more common native and introduced birds, as well as overall natural history of the Hawaiian Islands
Transportation: Pickups at 6:00am Sheraton, 6:30 Hawaii Forest & Trail, 7:15 Saddle Road Junction

Restrictions: Consists of short walks & roadside stops. Suitable for most abilities. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
