E Mālama I Nā Manu: Care for the Birds.
We are using Threadless again this year to be able to be able to make Hawai‘i Island Festival of Birds gear possible. Festival gear is available now and early ordering is encouraged! Orders support the festival and help spread awareness of native birds. Get your gear early to support the festival and don’t forget to sport your gear at the event.
Threadless is a print-on-demand service that handles all the ordering, printing, and customer service. If you have any problems with your items, please reach out to Threadless directly. They are typically really good about correcting issues! Please note that no shirts will be available for purchase at the event. All shirt sales are handled through Threadless. Festival merch will be available here through October.

About the Artwork
The amazing artwork for the 2024 Festival gives a nod to “aspirational abundance”. This scene is not something you would see today, but is something we aspire to: native flora and fauna thriving in all environments. The artwork was created by award-winning artist Joanna Maney, winner of the 2022-2023 Hawai‘i Conservation Stamp art contest. Joanna is a talented artist and all-around wonderful human being who is dedicated to the conservation and survival of native birds in Hawai‘i. Joanna originally created these illustrations for the Hawai‘i Wildlife Center O’ahu Satellite Clinic and has graciously allowed us to use it for the festival as well. You can find her work online at wanderingfinch.com and on Instagram (@wandering_finch). Mahalo Joanna!
Mahalo also to Noah Gomes who always kindly assists us with the ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi to make sure our grammar is correct. We appreciate him very much!
